The MetroLiveGuide is a public events driven web service that will keep the users informed with upcoming events anywhere in the world and we are now feature complete and have passed Facebook's App Review Process.

By login in using your Facebook account, you grant our web service the permissions to view all public events available to you and your friends. The web service in turn shares these public events to any user that uses the service.

With every user that logs into the service, we add more events every day.

IMPORTANT

This page is optimized for mobile browsers but it doesn't play well with Facebook's built in browser.

How do I use the MetroLiveGuide? 

First, you want to paste this link into your favorite browser.

Log in using your Facebook account.

Now select “Use current location”

Note: Your smart device’s “location services” must be turn on, also for the most accurate use of location service, 

Or if you’re traveling to a destination and would like to that location’s geographical events, use the “Search for location” feature.

Then click search.

Your results

By clicking the Facebook link, a new browser window will open to the Facebook events page providing all available details.

By clicking the location link  the hosting venue will appear on the map.

To get a general overview of events happening around you, you can simply select the map button at the bottom of the results page.

You can scroll out the map for a complete view.

Recommendation

For quick access to the MetroLiveGuide, we suggest you add a shortcut on your home screen.
Not only will you have 1 touch access, but the borders of your browser will disappear.

To do this, simply click the (share) button in your browser, they following pic are for iOS.
